How to Remove Automapping for mailboxes with PowerShell. Automapping in Outlook can cause chaos when a user has Full Access permission to multiple mailboxes. To avoid this, you can remove automapping while keeping Full Access permissions using PowerShell. This allows users to manually add mailboxes they need in Outlook, reducing hanging and freezing issues during loading.

Restore mailbox content to another mailbox with PowerShell. This one can be a life saver. When a user mailbox is deleted, it’s soft-deleted and can be restored within 30 days. By utilizing the New-MailboxRestoreRequest PowerShell cmdlet, you can transfer the content of an inactive mailbox to another mailbox, including mail items and the In-Place Archive folder, ensuring no important data is lost.

Should I allow personal laptops or stick with company owned?

Balancing Microsoft 365 and BYOD can be tricky, as personal devices pose greater risks and less control for administrators. MFA and MAM offer some security, but they aren’t foolproof, especially for personal Windows devices. To reduce risk, it’s best to recommend company-owned PCs enrolled in Microsoft Intune for a secure foundation.
