How to Reset Microsoft OneDrive on Windows. Resetting Microsoft OneDrive can resolve issues like failed syncing, crashes, or sign-in errors without losing your files. How to do it?
Let M365 Copilot prioritise your Outlook inbox. By April 2025, Outlook’s Copilot will prioritize incoming emails as high, low, or normal based on factors like sender roles and content. Accessible via a “Prioritise” option, it applies only to new emails in your main inbox.
New Outlook: Show To, CC, BCC in Replies. The new Outlook has made changes to the reply interface that can make managing CC and BCC fields less intuitive. Something we knew how to do in Outlook Classic, is no longer obvious in the new Outlook.
☁️Copilot & AI
Semantic Telemetry: Understanding how users interact with AI systems. Microsoft Research’s Semantic Telemetry project leverages large language models (LLMs) to classify and analyze human-AI interactions in Bing Copilot. Findings reveal that Copilot supports complex tasks – like programming and data analysis – more effectively than traditional search. While mobile users focus on personal tasks, desktop users lean toward professional needs, showcasing Copilot’s diverse applications in both personal and professional contexts.
Brainstorm FASTER with AI. If you’re stuck with a creative block, try “free thinking.” Speak your ideas aloud for 10 minutes while using Word’s Dictate feature to transcribe your thoughts. Then, paste the text into ChatGPT with a prompt to reorganize it for clarity. This method captures your raw ideas quickly, removes overthinking, and turns chaos into structured content effortlessly.
3 Microsoft Copilot PDF Tricks You DID NOT Know Were Possible. You can use Microsoft Copilot to analyze lengthy PDFs, extract key insights, compare documents, and even create visual summaries like charts – all within seconds. Copilot delivers more accurate and relevant results by tailoring your prompts with specific roles or contexts. While it’s a powerful tool, always verify data for accuracy, especially with critical business insights.
☁️Sysadmin Stuff
How to Check Who Deleted Emails from Shared Mailbox. Managing email deletions in Microsoft 365 shared mailboxes can be tricky, but a custom PowerShell script simplifies the process. It tracks who deleted emails, when, and how (soft or hard delete). With options for filtering by user, subject, mailbox, or date range, the script generates detailed audit reports in CSV format. Supports MFA, certificates, and scheduling.
Get support for Volume Licensing from the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal. Once upon a time, there was VLSC. The most dreaded word by many IT guys. But today everything is so simple, right? Or maybe not? To request Volume Licensing support in the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to “Help & support” and type “manage volume licensing” with your question. If needed, select “Contact Support,” describe your issue with relevant details, and choose your preferred contact method. If you lack admin center access, submit an online support request instead.
☁️Security & Data Governance
Microsoft 365 migration types defined. Migrating to Microsoft 365 involves choosing the right method based on your current environment and needs. Options include tenant-to-tenant, on-premises, hybrid, or third-party platform migrations. Strategies like phased or cutover migrations help balance complexity and downtime. Key considerations include domain, identity, device, email, file, and Teams migrations, often requiring a mix of Microsoft and third-party tools for seamless transitions.
Convince Users to Upgrade to a Stronger Authentication Method. Microsoft has introduced authentication strength for conditional access, emphasizing the need to move away from SMS for MFA due to security risks. Using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph SDK, you can identify accounts relying on SMS and send tailored emails encouraging users to adopt stronger methods like FIDO2 keys or the Authenticator app.
Protecting Your Digital Assets: Strategies for M365 Content Security. To safeguard your digital assets in Microsoft 365 sites and teams, prioritize permissions management, guest access control, sensitivity labels, Conditional Access policies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Use private settings by default, enforce sharing limits, encrypt sensitive files, and monitor data activities.
