Issue #159

☁️What’s on my mind

I have a couple of test tenants where I try out new things, take some harmless screenshots and so on.

Last week, Microsoft forced me to protect the global administrator on one of these tenants with multi-factor authentication. I could only log in 3 more times without MFA.

I had deliberately left this global administrator without MFA until now because I correctly assumed that the day would come sooner or later when I would no longer have a choice.

And this is one of the rare occasions when it is right that I have no choice.

Have a nice weekend,
Matic Z.

Microsoft Exchange Server is set to release its final Cumulative Update (CU) for Exchange Server 2019, CU15, later this year. This update will introduce new features such as support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 and certificate management in the Exchange admin center.

Additionally, Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE) is planned for release in Q3 of 2025, with its first CU expected to arrive in late 2025. To ensure a smooth transition, it is recommended to upgrade to Exchange Server 2019 CU14 on Windows Server 2022 today or wait for CU15 on Windows Server 2025.
