☁️What’s on my mind
Recently, there has been a lot of dissatisfaction in the Microsoft partner channel. I am in contact with Microsoft partners practically every day and they all complain that they will have difficulty maintaining their partner status and obtaining new designations that would qualify them for rebates and other perks (internal use right licenses, etc.).
Especially in smaller markets, this move by Microsoft will significantly reduce the earnings of most partners.
Why is this happening? I think for two reasons.
The first is that shareholders need to stay happy. The second is that Microsoft has finally got the opportunity to focus partners strictly on moving everybody and everything to the cloud.
No cloud, no partner status, no incentives.
Have a really great day.
